Hong Kong's exports increased by 5.6 percent to HK$379.6 billion year-on-year in November, beating estimates of 1.8 percent. In October, exports fell by 1.1 percent in exports, while imports grew by 0.6 percent year-on-year. In the firsrt 11 months, exports fell by 2.8 percent on-year, imports dropped by 5 percent. Exports to Singapore fell by 21.2 percent and those to India shed 14.3 percent. Exports of "power generating machinery and equipment'' fell by 33.2 percent, "telecommunications and sound recording and reproducing apparatus and equipment", by 4.2 percent.
