The Centre for Health Protection is set to confirm over 50 Covid patient in the city today. Hong Kong yesterday confirmed 53 Covid patients – three imported and 50 local – bringing the tally to 8,725 cases, including 143 deaths. Health officials yesterday announced that buildings with unrelated infections in two or more units over the past two weeks will be subject to mandatory Covid-19 tests, with checks on the sewage of the blocks to follow to make sure the virus has been eradicated.
