The Hong Kong Federation of Education Workers has urged the Education Bureau to assess the possibility of school resumption in January and make announcements as soon as possible to allow parents and schools to make timely preparations. Amid the fourth wave Covid outbreak in the city, the Bureau earlier announced that all kindergartens, primary and secondary schools will suspend face-to-face classes and school activities until the beginning of school Christmas holidays.
