MICE and waterway tourism would be promoted next year, he added. The city welcomed an estimated 6.38 million international visitors this year and earned some VND116 trillion in tourism revenues, up 22.8 per cent and 12.6 per cent from last year. The number is expected to rise to 7.5 million next year, he said.
