HCM CITY — Investors in HCM City will receive construction permits within 15 working days after applying online for level 3 public service registrations, according to the city’s People’s Committee. Construction permits will be granted after approval of the application. The district people’s committees are responsible for granting online construction permits to investors within 15 days from the date of issued online receipts. The city’s Department of Construction plans to apply electronic construction permits on a trial run in early July, which would help shorten the time for approval to 42 days from the current 133 days. Individuals and companies will go through three steps to register their projects, including basic design, construction design and construction permits.
