Martin Guptill has picked up a maximum contract in the Caribbean Premier League. He set his reserve price at $124,000, but the bidding saw him claim a max contract. Guptill was joined by Ross Taylor, earning his first Twenty20 contract in some time, Brendon McCullum, Colin Munro, Mitchell McClenaghan, Luke Ronchi, Glenn Phillips. His 49-ball hundred against Australia in a Twenty20 international in February had him top of minds for team runners.
