NZ track troubles continue

New Zealand remain medal-less at world track cycling championships BEN STRANGGETTY IMAGES Natasha Hansen has impressed for New Zealand without getting on the podium. There was no bounce back from the New Zealand track cycling team on the second day of the world track championships. After a disappointing opening day in which the men's team sprint and team pursuit failed to make medal rides, New Zealand would have hoped to rebound in Apeldoorn. New Zealand finished in 4:25.384, missing out on a medal ride with the sixth fastest time, just behind Germany. Sprint team mate Emma Cumming fell at the round of 16 stage.
