Guidelines introduced to boost Thai cybersecurityThe National Cyber Security Agency (NCSA) has launched "zero trust" guidelines to help enterprises and individuals strengthen their cybersecurity, as the multi-factor authentication (MFA) method seems insufficient to prevent hacking and threats. The agency targets companies listed on the Stock Exchange of Thailand implementing the guidelines, as well as the government and private sectors, said AVM Amorn Chomchoey, secretary-general of NCSA. "Cybersecurity remains vulnerable because people are negligent when working from home, using computers with pirated software or logging in from unsecure home devices. "Every time a user requests access, the system continuously checks your credentials to ensure it is still the real user," said AVM Amorn. The guidelines are designed to be vendor-neutral so organisations will not be tied to a single product, he said.
