Share TweetBy Jeffrey DamicogDepartment of Justice (DOJ) Secretary Menardo Guevarra on Thursday has assured he has no hand in ordering the indictment of Japanese businessman Kazou Okada. “The Secretary stressed that his son knew absolutely nothing about the cases involving Tiger Resorts and Mr. Okada. “Its resolution in the Okada case was arrived at by the prosecutor handling the case without the intervention or influence of the Secretary,” he explained. In the meantime, Perete said Guevarra has asked his son consider resigning from TRLEI should Okada files an appeal before the DOJ regarding the indictment.
