Guan Eng cries foul over denied entry to vernacular primary school

Lim, who claimed that this was a travesty of democratic principles, asked how could a duly-elected chief minister — the only Chinese chief minister in Malaysia — not allowed entry into the vernacular primary school in his own state. He is demanding an explanation from the Education Ministry and MCA on the matter. Deputy Education Minister Datuk Chong Sin Woon said I must write to the state Education Department for approval before visiting the school. On Aug 26, Lim went to Sungai Lembu to check on the situation following the illegal carbon filter factory fiasco. Lim showed the media the letter he wrote to the state Education Department and the reply he received.
