KANGAR: A retiree, who spent the night in Tuanku Fauziah Hospital to accompany a relative warded in the hospital, ended up with a “heartache” upon noticing that all four of her car wheels were stolen. The victim had parked her Kia Rio in an open parking space outside the hospital compound on Tuesday evening before walking to the ward. Kangar district police chief Superintendent Wari Kiew said the woman only realised her car tyres and sportrims worth about RM1,000 were stolen when she was about to leave the hospital at 1pm the next day. Wari said it was the first such case reported near the hospital area. A picture of the victim’s car, minus the wheels, has gone viral on social media platforms in the state.
