A campaign group, Peter Obi Support Network, has commenced mobilisation of Nigerians to support the presidential ambition of a former Governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi. The group made this known on Monday at the inauguration of its zonal coordinators in Abuja. The Chairman of the Occasion, Sheikh Rufai Al-Siddiq, said, “The Peter Obi Support Network is over six million (in membership) and each (member) will donate not less than N1,000. According to him, donations by all members would confirm their acceptance of Obi by Nigerians including Muslims. When we did this, we are going to use it to support the Peter Obi candidacy both at the PDP delegates’ election and all the way down.”Copyright PUNCH.
