A volunteer group in Petaling Jaya, called the Brotherhood, is again highlighting public facilities is disrepair in the Selangor city. This time, the group has gone around neighbourhoods to mark uncovered utility manholes with paint so that the problem is noticed by the authorities. One of the areas is Jalan Templer, near Sultan Abdul Aziz Mosque, where an uncovered manhole was spray painted by the group. “Based on information provided, the manhole cover in Jalan Templer has been damaged for a week. Johan added that the Brotherhood had marked five other uncovered manholes — in Jalan Klang Lama, Taman Medan and Lorong Sultan near Shah’s Village Hotel.
