Sesan OlufowobiThe Lagos State Building Control Agency has closed five illegal bonded terminals and five other buildings in the Ajegunle area of the state. Governor Akinwunmi Ambode had last week ordered the closure of all illegal bonded terminals in Ajegunle, in the Ajeromi Ifelodun Local Government, saying they contributed to the gridlock in the Apapa area of Lagos. The Queena Bonded Terminal, Don Climax Bonded Terminal and others were sealed by the government officials. “All bonded terminals operating within residential areas will be sealed. The genesis of Apapa’s gridlock is indiscriminate citing of tank farms and bonded terminals without any approval from the government.”Copyright PUNCH.
