Greyhounds take a stroll along Caroline Bay

Claire Wilkins with her 10-year-old greyhound, Gem, leads the parade in Caroline Bay. Greyhounds in tutus and T-shirts enjoyed a leisurely stroll along Caroline Bay beach in Timaru on Sunday morning as part of the annual Great Global Greyhound Walk. The walk, which started on Virtue Ave end of Caroline Bay, was to mark the 15th anniversary of New Zealand charity Greyhounds as Pets (Gap). “The greyhounds were their normal relaxed selves and enjoyed a leisurely stroll along the beach,” Wilkins said.
