“I think the team knows that when they're able to get certain areas of the game right, they can be a match for anybody,” the Scotland boss said. “I think each game is important in the Six Nations in that you take your learnings and go into the next game. But the 52-year-old insists he’s still hugely motivated to lead Scotland into the inaugural Nations Championship. Scotland will have just one more shot, during next year's Six Nations, to put right their miserable record against the Irish. But after declaring the Six Nations a success, the Scotland boss is relishing the chance to take on two of the world’s best sides in their own back yards.
