Greenland's biggest glacier is growing for the first time in 20 years, according to Nasa. The Oceans Melting Greenland (OMG) project has recorded growth on the edges of the Jakobshavn Glacier since 2016. The expansion is beginning to reverse two decades of thinning and retreating, but it doesn't mean the Greenland Ice Sheet is out of hot water just yet. At present, Jakobshavn is responsible for draining just 7 per cent of the Greenland's ice sheet. GETTY IMAGES For the first time in 20 years, one of Greenland's glaciers is growing again.
