MANILA, Philippines— The Manila International Airport Authority confirmed that a grass fire occurred at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 3 on Thursday morning. The MIAA said the fire was reported at around 8:55 a.m. The authorities then sent four fire trucks from the MIAA Fire and Rescue department to put out the the blaze incident. According to the initial unofficial report of the MIAA, the combustion was caused by a leaking grass-cutting equipment. The authorities are now probing the fire incident to confirm if the initial report is true.
