Global professional services firm Grant Thornton has appointed Vic Angley as a new partner in the company's tax practice in Limerick. He joins the firm having worked in 'Big Four' companies as well as large national tax practices over the past twenty years. Mr Angley has experience spanning several areas, including cross-border tax planning, corporate acquisitions, reconstructions and reorganisations and foreign direct investment (FDI) into Ireland. He is an associate of the Irish Tax Institute (CTA) and holds an MBA from the UCD Smurfit Business School. Michael McAteer, managing partner at Grant Thornton Ireland, said Mr Angley's appointment demonstrates the firm's commitment to expansion across the island of Ireland.
