SUBANG JAYA: A 66-year-old man has been detained for allegedly molesting his step-granddaughter. He said the girl also complained of pain and claimed that the suspect had touched her private parts and inserted an object into it. The young victim was later taken to the hospital for a check up. Police arrested the suspect at his home on Tuesday (Dec 19) and have obtained a seven-day remanded order against the man. The case is being investigated for physical sexual assault on a child under Section 14(a) of the Sexual Offences Against Children Act 2017.
