Prime Minister Narendra Modi will make the keynote address at the inaugural function of Grand Challenges Annual Meeting 2020, on October 19 at 7:30 PM through video conferencing. "The Grand Challenges Annual Meeting, for the last 15 years, has fostered international innovation collaborations to address the biggest challenges in health and development," said the Prime Minister's Office. The Grand Challenges Annual Meeting will be held virtually from October 19-21. While the plenary framing conversation will be made by Bill Gates, Co-Chair, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Notably, Department of Biotechnology, Government of India and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation together set up the Grand Challenges India in the year 2012.
