In 2012, Forbes reported that an alternative MBA, in the form of a bootcamp, may be more efficient than a traditional MBA. This type of concept helped shift the focus from the common post-graduate education to being more open-minded of alternative education platforms. Bootcamps like Startup Institute work with both local hiring partners, and professors to build curriculums around what their global needs are. Startup Schools and bootcamps typically offer a myriad of platforms in which they provide education. Most of the major bootcamps offer full-time programs, which tend to be better suited for individuals just out of school or looking to change their career.
