KUALA LUMPUR: The government is spreading a message of unity, prosperity and safety in conjunction with the Chinese New Year celebration. “Let us continue to preserve the harmony of our country as we are a multiracial nation,” she said while urging the people to work hard for unity. Her deputy Hannah Yeoh also called for the public to honour their parents and elders. Deputy Health Minister Dr Lee Boon Chye called for the public to adopt a healthy lifestyle. The video also featured the country’s renowned badminton player Datuk Lee Chong Wei who was seen with children of various races.
