LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has said that the provincial government will introduce animal health act to promote the livestock sector in the province. The meeting decided to introduce animal health act for the promotion and development of the livestock sector in the province. There is a dire need to give attention to research and development in the livestock sector, he added. The heads of Punjab Agriculture and Meat Company and Punjab Livestock & Dairy Development Board gave detailed briefings about the steps taken for the development of the livestock sector. Meanwhile, the heads of Punjab Mass Transit Authority and Lahore Transport Company also gave briefings about the transport department and the latest transport system.
