Govt to end ‘instant noodle’ schemes - Nation

IPOH: The government wants to end “instant noodle” programmes by the previous administration such as 1Malaysia Clinics, which were set up in haste“Their functions have not been executed well,” said Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr Dzulkefly Ahmad. These new clinics were expected to be up and running by the second half of next year, he told reporters yesterday. Former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak has made two Facebook postings of late, questioning the move by the Pakatan Harapan government to close these clinics. Dr Dzulkefly said the current government wanted to ensure patients were diagnosed for serious illnesses at early stages at such community clinics. If they continued with the current clinics, patients would not be able to be screened for serious diseases.
