A host of programmesA number of programmes will be held in schools in the district this week in connection the Reading Week celebrations. Minister for Education C. Raveendranath will inaugurate a programme ‘One hour for reading’ at Karthika Thirunal Vocational and Higher Secondary School, Manacaud, on Wednesday. The valedictory of the observance will be held at SMV Government Model Higher Secondary School on Saturday. Education Minister C. Raveendranath, who presided over the function, said that reading should have a sense of purpose and direction.
