In the wake of nonstop question paper leaks and allegations of corruption, the government has transferred 30 officials of the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education (DSHE) and Dhaka education board. Two notices signed by Secondary and Higher Education Division (SHED) Senior Assistant Secretary Fatama Tul Jannat were issued on Thursday in this regard. Among those transferred was Manmatha Ranjan Baroi, Dhaka education board deputy inspector of colleges and former assistant personal secretary of Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid. Others include Dhaka education board Inspector for Colleges Md Ashfaq us Salehin, Inspector for Schools ATM Mainul Hossain, SHED Director Md Selim. Some officials did not even take promotions to avoid losing the administrative posts and their facilities.
