GOVERNMENT formation talks have been postponed amid the unprecedented crisis caused by the coronavirus threat. Senior politicians from Fine Gael and Fianna Fáil were due to meet this evening but negotiations will now not start until next week. It comes after Taoiseach Leo Varadkar and Fianna Fáil leader Micheál Martin discussed the matter by phone today. Earlier Tánaiste Simon Coveney said that he had been due to meet Fianna Fáil today.
