BAHAWALPUR: Punjab Higher Education Minister Syed Raza Ali Gilani on Wednesday said that government is paying special attention to the provision of quality education to the students of South Punjab and has established new universities in Bahawalpur and Multan for this purpose. The minister was speaking at the 12th convocation of the Islamia University Bahawalpur, at which he had been invited as chief guest. He congratulated the graduating students and urged them to use their expertise and knowledge for the betterment of the country and nation. He said that the youth of Pakistan had immense potential, adding that the government was investing highly in education for this reason. The minister also urged the faculty members to take the lead in imparting quality education to students to enable them to meet the challenges of the modern age.
