LAHORE: Lahore Waste Management Company (LWMC) has released its special cleanliness plan for Eid Milad-un-Nabi. The objective is to ensure waste-free surroundings in the city, especially on the 100 major routes of processions. According to the plan, sanitary crew along with machinery will be deployed on the processions’ routes. Manual sweeping, mechanical sweeping and washing of the major roads where processions are expected will also be ensured earlier. The approved cleanliness plan also includes the washing of city’s major mosques and liming of pavements.
