It will further help build synergies and help Ghana leverage additional investment by facilitating the mobilization of partners and resources to achieve larger developmental impact. Receiving the director general of UNIDO, Trade and Industry Minister, Alan Kyerematen said implementation of programmes like this is a boost to government’s industrialisation drive. Director General of UNIDO LI Yong noted that the organisation will continue to promote and accelerate sustainable industrial development in Ghana. The agreement which will be implemented under the West Africa competitiveness programme also aims at improving the performance and growth of selected value chains.
