It said the Vice Chancellor, Reverend Professor Anthony Afful-Broni, and the Governing Council, within their short stay in office, had performed creditably. It said the current SRC leadership remained resolute, determined and focused in serving the interest of the entire student body. The SRC, it noted, was working tirelessly with management to recall students to campus in the earliest possible time. It applauded the Central Regional Security Council for its timely intervention to prevent the escalation and further destruction on the two campuses.
