Government Has No Right to Hide Information - Negeri LenchoNovember 17, 2016 - The Government Communication Affairs Office (GCAO) said it has planned to give due emphasis for the creation of effective public relation services that can provide information to the public in the needed manner. The Minister, Negeri Lencho(PhD), noted that every public relation officer should provide ordinary information about his/her office and the main information should be provided by the respective ministries. The Minister reminded that he has come up with some media who refrain from reporting information that they think could tarnish good image of the government during his research. “The government has no right to hide information. While the right to access any information is legally guaranteed, the public relation is trying to conceal it get good will of their bosses and this should be completely averted,” he remarked.
