NEW DELHI: India will launch a mega diplomatic offensive in the United Nations Brics and Saarc to have Pakistan declared a pariah state that sponsors terror. On Tuesday Afghanistan President Ashraf Ghani telephoned Narendra Modi to express solidarity following the Uri incident. His country too is a victim of Pak-based terror attacks. Foreign Secretary Jaishankar's presence at the meeting with the Home Minister signaled India's plan to keep up the pressure diplomatically and prepare strategic response. At this meeting India also took Pakistan to task for its human rights records against Balochis and other minorities besides political parties like MQM.
