Speaking in Filipino on Saturday, Gordon said it is the donor agency that should be investigated but expressed "readiness" to explain the donations if the CoA was "not happy" with the results of its inquiry. Gordon said all of these donations were properly documented and reported to the International Red Cross. Duterte on Thursday accused Gordon of using the Senate inquiry and the PRC funds for his election campaign in 2022. Gordon said the Senate should be allowed to continue with the investigation that has, so far, uncovered "fraud, waste and abuse." Speaking in Filipino, Aguinaldo said the CoA report cited "deficiencies in terms of documentation."
