Google is the newest internet giant to reconsider its approach to political ads. These practices are aligned with what you previously see in conservative TV, radio and print ads, Google alleged. From December 3rd onwards, Google’s political ad transparency in the US will inflate from the national level to include state-level candidates and politicians, survey measures and any ads that remark parties irrespective of scale. The stricter ad policy could still have a substantial approach to internet activism in the future. This is also a diverse divergence to Facebook’s moderately loose ad controls and Twitter’s near-total ban on political ads.
