DIG discipline says 1.5 million people have been the beneficiaries of 8,787 complaint cells so farLAHORE: Punjab Inspector General of Police (IGP) Amjad Javed Saleemi has said Khidmat Marakaz and Khidmat Counters, established in 36 districts, are serving people and reducing the burden on police stations. He was presiding over the evaluation of Khidmat Marakiz across Punjab at the Central Police Office in Lahore. DIG Discipline and Inspection Ahsan Younas and his team briefed the IGP during the meeting. Younas informed the IGP that 1.5 million people have been the beneficiaries of 8,787 complaint cells so far. At the same time, 34 violations against women have been registered at these Khidmat Marakiz.
