Aggrieved residents of Goni Gora a suburb of Kaduna metropolis blocked the Kaduna /Abuja highway to express their anger over the incessant abductions and banditry activities. A protester who gave his name as Simon Peters said the rate of abductions in the area is worrisome. According to him, yesterday (Friday) the kidnappers stormed his area and operated for four hours without any hindrance. The protesters mostly youths, women and children barricaded the high way with heavy and wood, thus creating heavy traffic flow on the road.
