Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom has assured workers in the state of his administration’s commitment to their welfare, despite the numerous challenges facing the state. In the governor’s message to the labour in the state, Governor Ortom also appreciated retirees of the state for their understanding and assured them that he would continue to address the issues of pensions and gratuity as funds permit. While acknowledging the contributions the workers have made to the development of the state over the years, Governor Ortom urged the workers to sustain the commitment. Governor Ortom solicited the cooperation of the workers and other Benue people with the State Government and security agencies to enable them to guarantee the safety of lives and property.
