Chima Azubuike, GombeThe Deputy Incidence Manager on Covid-19 Response in Gombe State, Dr Joshua Abubakar, has said most of the active cases in the state are not severe, adding that for non-severe cases, home treatment is allowed. Abubakar disclosed this on Tuesday while answering questions on why the state isolation centres remained scanty. He said out of 33 recently confirmed cases, six were identified as health workers, noting that they were asymptomatic. Unless we see that the house is overcrowded, then we advise the patients to come to the hospital. Out of the 33 we got recently, 16 of them are in Bajoga, six are health care workers and none of them have the symptoms.
