STAFF at The Golden Ball pub in Lower Assendon are preparing to take on a charity run with a twist to support Cancer Research. Ben’s father David, 79, is currently battling Stage 4 oesophageal cancer and Ben wanted to do something positive to fight back against the disease. The time-consuming nature of running The Golden Ball makes taking part in charity runs difficult.
