Secretary General of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami and candidate of Khulna-5 seat Mia Golam Parwar campaigned in her constituency today. “Without victory of Dalipalla, the sufferings of the country will continue,” he said while addressing election rallies here today. The Jamaat leader joined processions, courtyard meetings and door-to-door campaigns at Phultala upazila’s Patiabandha, Dhopakhola and Piprail, and Dumuria upazila’s Mandra, Dahkhola, Pakuria, Rudaghara and Shailgati areas. Golam Parwar claimed that students have already defeated extortionists in various students’ union elections. He called upon voters to rise above party affiliations and vote for the persons ‘having honesty and good moral character’.
