Global stock markets retreated on Thursday after the Federal Reserve sparked a major sell-off on Wall Street. On Wednesday, the S&P 500 slid 1.9%, and also the Dow sank 1.1%. South Korea’s Kospi (KOSPI) slid 1.1% while stocks in China were flat. On the other hand, European stocks dipped in early trading, France’s CAC 40 (CAC40) shed 1.4%, while Germany’s DAX 30 declined 1.1%. In early trading, the FTSE 100 in London lost 1.1% to 7,435.95.
