Around 117 crew members took to the streets of Glasgow to walk 26 miles wearing nothing on their feet apart from socks as they fundraised for the Ronald McDonald House in Glasgow. The Sauchiehall Street crew members were crowned the winners for the funniest socks, while Rachel McBride from the Maryhill restaurant was rewarded for raising the most funds. "Witnessing everyone come together for the Ronald McDonald House Glasgow has been truly heartwarming. The House does fantastic work for children and families across Scotland so we were delighted to support it. "It was definitely worth the sore feet and we are already thinking what our next fundraiser could be!”Ken Simpson, Chief Executive at Ronald McDonald House Glasgow, added: “We are so thankful to the Glasgow McDonald’s crew members for taking part in this challenge and raising these vital funds.
