The luxury goods company announced yesterday it had agreed to acquire Sammy’s Restaurant and Retail Store in Inch. Kilkenny said that the business, which employs 12 people, was “a popular destination for locals and international visitors”. Marian O’Gorman, chief executive of the group, called the deal “a fantastic and exciting opportunity to further develop our authentic food, culture and Irish craft and design”.
