A two-year-old girl is in a serious condition after she was hit with an arrow from a crossbow in what is believed to have been an accident at home. Merseyside Police were called to a property in Walton, Liverpool, just after 2pm on Tuesday after the toddler was struck when a projectile was discharged inside a property. She was taken to hospital with a head injury and is said to be in a serious condition. The crossbow was seized by police and is being forensically examined.
