Former Cork City player Derek Couglan on the end of the John Caulfield era and the daunting challenge facing his successor. Especially being a hometown manager, this must be a difficult and emotional time for John Caulfield and his family right now. But when the history books are written it’s likely that John Caulfield will be remembered as the most successful Cork manager of all time. Similarly, Colin Healy, who is responsible for the Cork City Academy, might be reluctant to abandon that project just yet. In the meantime, thanks for the memories, Johnny.
