Both teens were arraigned in Halifax youth court on Wednesday. The charges against the girl include one of attempted murder, and Crown prosecutor Terry Nickerson told the court he will seek an adult sentence if she is convicted of the charge. Other officers and a police dog tracked down the girl and the boy who were found nearby and arrested. The girl, who police said was in hospital after her arrest, appeared in youth court wearing a blue and white hospital gown. Police officers could be seen on the trail with guns drawn shortly after 6 a.m.
