PETALING JAYA: A Year Two pupil suffered bruises after she was allegedly beaten with a ruler and pinched by her information technology (IT) teacher, the girl's father claimed. "My daughter told me she was hit with a plastic ruler until it broke and was pinched on the face," he said on Saturday. According to the girl's father, this is not the first time his daughter was hit by the teacher. The father said he confronted the school's principal as well as the teacher on Friday to clarify the incident. He said the teacher admitted to punishing his daughter because he was "upset and got mad" at her IT project.
