By MIKE MORTENSEN, LACONIA DAILY SUNLACONIA — A local man has been indicted on multiple charges stemming from his alleged choking and beating of woman last month. A restraining order was issued against Conway on Nov. 22, but it was lifted at the woman's request on Dec. 5. At the time of his arraignment on the latest charges a Superior Court judge set Conway's bail at $15,000 cash. After the latest alleged assault, Conway fled the scene with a gunshot would to his leg, but never sought medical treatment. Conway was located later in the day hiding in a shed at his mother's residence.
